Beginning Smocking 2024

In this class you will be taught the various stitches that you will need to know in order to smock. You will also learn how to read and follow the instructions on a geometric design smocking plate. By the second class you will need to pick a project to work on along with a smocking design.  The project could be smocking one of our beautiful ready to smock outfits or just working on smocking an inset that you can sew into a garment when finished.  In the second class you will learn how to work the design you choose on your project.  Whether you are a first time smocker or taking the class as a refresher you will not be disappointed in how much you will learn!
