Upcoming Classes

It's almost October and that means some new classes are beginning. We have a Basic Smocking class beginning next Saturday, October 7. This class is 3 weeks in a row on 7, 14, 21 at 10 a.m. Click HERE to Register.

Finally, We have the Christmas Table Runner Class coming up on Oct. 16 at 1 p.m.. This is a new class that we are offering.  This class requires the purchase of a kit but the great thing about it is all the pieces are pre-cut!! Fun things to Try

Moda has just released its newest Cake Mix Recipe: 6, 7, 8.  The original 4 were first released last year and were so successful that they are continuing with the patterns. If you are not familiar with this product please continue reading. Each version contains 45 recipe cards, which are printed tissue paper with pinning, piecing, and cutting instructions. Each card can be used to make up to six different types of quilt blocks. The inside cover of the Cake Mix gives some Basic Baking Techniques (like no starch, pressing tips, etc.) It also provides a setting layout, giving the finished size with and without sashing and borders. Basically, each Cake Mix has all you need make a quilt – just add fabric! New Arrivals

We've made this one super easy...A Bushel and a Peck Quilt kit includes everything except for the backing. This quilt is considered an Easy level and uses a layer cake (10 in. squares) plus some yardage for the background and borders.  The fabric is from Moda's the Good life by Camillie and Bonnie.  Click the green button to see fabric used in the kit and place an order this kit.
